Compact flow sensors with display
The SA series flow sensors with display serve to monitor liquids and gases in pipes. In addition to volumetric flow monitoring, the SA also monitors the temperature of the medium. Thanks to a broad selection of process adapters, the sensors can be used in nearly all industrial applications. They are frequently used in cooling circuits, e.g. in steelworks, the automotive industry and in glassmaking. Further application areas include water management and cleaning processes in the food and beverage industry.
Their robust stainless steel housing provides high reliability even in harsh operating conditions.
Set-up, maintenance and operation are facilitated by a 4-digit LED display, which is visible from all sides even at greater distances, and two switching status LEDs on the sensor head. The display can be switched from the indication of “red” to an alternating indication of “red – green”. So, switching states can be highlighted or an independent colour window can be created.
Parameter setting is effected via the buttons on the sensor or via IO-Link, e.g. using a USB interface. The LINERECORDER SENSOR software is used to visualise, transfer and archive parameter sets.
