Cylinder types

Magnetic sensors are used for the detection of positions without contact or wear and tear. They are used where very long sensing ranges are required. Due to their operating principle, magnetic sensors can detect special targets (permanent magnets) through all non-magnetisable materials such as stainless steel, aluminium, plastics and glass.
Thanks to their robust metal housing, cylinder type magnetic sensors are particularly suited for use in harsh industrial environments.
