Glass and film detection

Sensors for the detection of transparent objects consist of a retro-reflective sensor with polarisation filter and a very fine prismatic reflector. They safely detect glass, film, PET bottles or transparent packaging and can be used for counting bottles or glasses or monitoring film for tear. Hence, they are mainly used in the food, beverage, and pharmaceutical industries.

The sensors operate with visible red light. This facilitates alignment during set-up. Thanks to their high switching frequency they are particularly suited for very fast processes.

Light-on / dark-on mode and sensitivity are set via pushbuttons on the unit.
