The magnetic inductive flow sensors of the SM series monitor liquids with precision and efficiency. They detect three crucial process categories: volumetric flow quantity, consumed quantity, and medium temperature. Applications in Water Management and Industrial Installations

In the realm of water management and industrial installations, SM series sensors are essential for accurate water consumption measurement. They allow users to access and adjust peak consumption, present consumption, or accumulated consumption using programmed switch and alarm level settings, all at the touch of a button.

Flexible Output Options

The units are equipped with two switching outputs, which can be programmed as normally open or normally closed. For output of the measured value, one switching output can be configured as a scalable analogue output. Additionally, for consumed quantity monitoring, the other output transmits counting pulses to the controller.

Comprehensive Monitoring Capabilities

Beyond volumetric flow monitoring, the SM sensors also monitor the temperature of the medium. This temperature is displayed on the unit and is available for signal processing. Such features make the SM sensors particularly suited for monitoring cooling circuits.
