Type M18 for factory automation

The threaded design most commonly used for photoelectric sensors in automation technology is the type M18. The robust metal housing allows for the reliable detection of objects in rugged industrial environments. The units are distinguished by long ranges, long-term stability and high switching frequencies. Diffuse reflection sensors ensure very precise background suppression, thus preventing unintentional switching even in demanding applications.

The product range includes through-beam sensors, retro-reflective sensors and diffuse reflection sensors, in each case with or without setting option. In demanding applications, precise adjustment to the application is made via potentiometer or pushbutton. On photoelectric sensors with teach mode, ranges, light-on and dark-on mode and, in the case of diffuse reflection sensors, background suppression, can be conveniently set via pushbuttons.

A wide range of system components ensures easy and safe integration into the application.
